Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Zone Maintenance Planner in Houston, TX to leverage engineering expertise and project management skills to plan, design, and execute complex TAR projects across ASU, CO2 and VSA locations. The role emphasizes safety, quality and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.

The position offers a 105k–115k annual pay range with a 10% bonus and up to 25% travel. Normal business hours apply, with comprehensive benefits described by the employer.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years TAR management or project engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications- Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Maximo and I-Procurement.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience supervising projects from $250K to $10MM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Lead TAR planning and execution for ASU, CO2 and VSA locations.
• Ensure TAR integration with Capital, Controls, Engineering or Operations projects.
• Plan, staff and coordinate TAR activities with Safety, Engineering, Controls & Operations.
• Develop detailed TAR execution plans including HSE, contracting and procurement strategy.
• Drive material management and QA/QC throughout TAR process.
• Optimize TAR schedule and resource loading.
• Report TAR cost and schedule performance; conduct post-TAR reviews.
