Job summary

Selby Jennings seeks a Turnaround & Restructuring Director in Paramus, NJ to lead complex engagements and mentor junior staff. You will collaborate with Executive Directors to manage insolvency and corporate restructuring projects for lenders, companies and investors.

The role requires deep financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strong client communication, with travel as needed. You will help shape strategies, manage teams, and develop business with our referral sources across

Qualifications

• 8+ years in finance or accounting with 3–5 years in restructuring or financial advisory.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy/turnaround processes is a plus.
• Strong project management and leadership of junior staff.
• Ability to translate qualitative/quantitative insights into recommendations.
• Excellent modeling, cash flow analysis and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Project management of insolvency and corporate restructuring engagements.
• Analyze companies, industries, historical and prospective financials.
• Build financial models, cash flow forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Assess long-term viability, develop recommendations, and aid implementation.
• Prepare presentations and materials; support business development with referrals.
