Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Planning and Turnaround Superintendent for the Port Neal Nitrogen Complex. This role leads maintenance planning, turnaround planning, and work management to ensure safe, efficient execution.

You will supervise planners, own planning standards, and collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Stores and EHS. The position requires leadership, strong SAP PM/CMMS knowledge, and a focus on backlog reduction, readiness, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance, construction management, or related field.
Minimum five years in industrial maintenance, planning, scheduling, turnaround coordination, or supervision; chemical manufacturing preferred.
Leadership experience with planners, coordinators, contractors, or cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, backlog management, outage readiness, and work execution.
Solid SAP PM or CMMS experience; ability to write clear work instructions and communicate priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead routine maintenance planning, turnaround planning, and work management processes.
Own planning standards, backlog planning quality, and readiness tracking.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Stores, EHS, and contractors.
Develop and maintain work packages with scope, labor, materials, tools, permits and safety controls.
Monitor KPIs such as planning backlog, schedule readiness, and PM compliance; drive continuous improvement.
Lead Turnarounds including scope development, milestone tracking, and contractor planning support.
