Job summary

CF Industries in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Planning Leader to drive backlog reduction, turnaround readiness, and efficient work planning. You will own work order quality in SAP, coordinate with multiple groups, and lead continuous improvements across maintenance planning processes.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering reliable maintenance execution in a complex industrial setting. Strong SAP PM experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum of five years in industrial maintenance, planning, scheduling, or turnaround coordination.
• Leadership experience leading planners, coordinators, or cross-functional teams preferred.
• Strong SAP PM or CMMS experience required; SAP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety permit-to-work, LOTO, confined space, hot work, and risk controls.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supports site EHS activities and participates in EHS programs.
• Develops long-term strategies for backlog reduction and planning resource optimization.
• Owns SAP work order planning quality and ensures proper work order development and closure.
• Monitors planning performance with KPIs like backlog and schedule readiness.
• Coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Stores, EHS, and contractors.
• Manages Turnarounds including planning and readiness activities.
• Develops relationships with internal customers to align resources.
• Supports maintenance budget development with planning input.
• Captures lessons learned to improve future plans.
