Job summary

The Maintenance Planner at AdvanSix Inc. is responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance activities within the assigned area of the Virginia facility.

This fast-paced role requires close collaboration with area coordinators and FLS to prioritize tasks and ensure outage readiness. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, plus proficiency with Primavera, SAP-PM, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment or a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience using IT tools to forecast and monitor outage metrics (e.g., work hours, task progression).
• Experience using Primavera (planning/scheduling).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all maintenance activities for the assigned area.
• Estimate and initiate mechanical and E/I work orders; forecast costs for outages.
• Procure equipment, materials, and outside services; manage contractors.
