Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Virginia facilities. You will plan and schedule all maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment, working closely with area coordinators and craft teams to ensure outages run smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, plus experience with SAP-PM and Primavera. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing or a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and project-management skills.
• Experience with SAP-PM; Primavera preferred; familiarity with lean Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for assigned area.
• Estimate and initiate work orders; manage outages and cost variances.
• Procure equipment, materials, and outside services for fixed-price packages.
• Oversee repairs, purchases, invoices, and receipts for outages.
• Develop and update job plans and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with Area Coordinators and Mechanical FLS on priorities.
• Audit and maintain maintenance records and shop papers.
