Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Turnaround Mechanical Planner in California to develop detailed execution work packages, labor estimates, and schedules for turnaround, outage, and capital projects. You will liaise with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to drive safe, efficient execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical planning for turnarounds, are proficient with P&IDs isometrics, Primavera P6, and SAP, and can read complex mechanical drawings while ensuring

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years as a Mechanical Planner for turnarounds, outages, or capital projects.
Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, and mechanical drawings.
Experience estimating labor and planning activities in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed execution work packages for turnaround, outage, and capital projects.
Prepare labor-hour estimates and support budgeting and resource forecasting.
Create task sequences, staffing needs, durations, and execution strategies.
Conduct field walkdowns to verify scope and risks.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors.
Manage field changes and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
