Job summary

NextDecade Corporation in Brownsville, TX seeks an experienced Superintendent, TAR, to lead turnaround execution across multiple disciplines at the LNG facility, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and quality.

You will coordinate with contractors and internal teams, manage scope changes, drive schedule integration (Primavera P6), and oversee major maintenance events and unit shutdowns with a strong focus on risk, cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Turnaround execution leadership or superintendent roles in large facilities.
• Experience with LNG/oil & gas/petrochemical industries favored.
• Proven ability to manage multi-discipline TAR teams (300+ personnel).
• Strong knowledge of CMMS and MOC processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and ensure a positive safety culture.
• Lead TAR execution to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to enable safe outcomes.
• Maintain and optimize the Integrated Schedule (Level 3/4).
• Oversee stage gate readiness reviews and SCR process.
• Drive scope management and risk qualification / risk register maintenance.
• Lead AAR and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage resource availability and utilization for TAR events.
