Flint Hills Resources is hiring a Turnaround Field Engineer for our Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, MN. You will plan, coordinate, and safely execute unit shutdowns and critical reliability work, handling tasks from valves to exchangers and vessels while coordinating with operations and engineering teams.

Qualifications include 2+ years in refinery-related roles and experience with refinery equipment. P6 scheduling and a engineering or construction management degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in engineering, project management, construction management, maintenance, operations, or turnaround planning/execution in a refinery or petrochemical setting.
• Experience with refinery equipment such as exchangers, vessels, heaters, towers, and pipe valves.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit shutdown worklists and coordinate with operations and process engineering for shutdown plans.
• Procure materials, estimate, schedule, and plan work execution and manpower.
• Ensure compliance with LDAR, OSHA, and company safety/environmental policies.
• Deliver safe work plans and execution coordination to support competitiveness.
• Adhere to safe work practices and policies.
• Optimize resource use across project phases through collaboration and communication.
