Job summary

Flint Hills Resources, a Koch company, is seeking a Construction Manager to provide constructability input, estimate, plan, and manage field execution of refinery construction activities. Projects range from $20M to $100M, involving piping, control rooms, modular buildings, and rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing small-mid capital projects or turnarounds in heavy industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or refining environments.
• Proficient in estimating, scheduling, cost control, and field execution.
• Ability to plan projects or turnarounds and translate plans to field execution.
• Able to climb structures and inspect equipment at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing pre-turnaround, turnaround, and post-turnaround field activities.
• Manage capital projects using knowledge of construction and industry standards.
• Manage field activities for capital projects or turnarounds, or shutdowns.
• Be prepared for extended work hours or shift changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
