Ryan Lawn & Tree Inc is hiring a Turf Trainee to diagnose lawn issues and deliver high-quality turf care across a large client base. You will manage a route of 400–500 customers, perform fertilization, aeration, seeding, and service calls, and grow turf knowledge to advise homeowners effectively.

The role emphasizes customer service, problem solving, and reliable fieldwork with safety and compliance in all activities. Starting compensation is competitive with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in horticulture, landscaping, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in agronomy, turfgrass, or agricultural sciences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own your route: manage a 400–500 customer route with consistent service.
• Diagnose lawn problems and prescribe solutions that work for each property.
• Complete turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aeration, seeding, and service calls.
• Develop knowledge of turfgrass practices and other Ryan services as a resource for customers.
• Build relationships through excellent account management and customer service.
