Ryan Lawn & Tree is seeking a Turf Route Manager for the St. Louis team. You will manage a large route of 400–500 customers, diagnose lawn issues, prescribe solutions, and deliver high-quality service on property by property, while partnering with the team to uphold our standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the green or agricultural industry (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• DOT certification eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state-issued pesticide applicator license for turfgrass within 3 months.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION: pre-employment drug screen, background check, MVR, and DOT physical where applicable.

• Complete turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aerating, seeding, and service calls for customer properties.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the green or agricultural industry (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in agronomy, turfgrass, or agricultural sciences is a plus)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain DOT certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state‑issued pesticide applicator license for turfgrass within 3 months
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• SAFETY‑SENSITIVE POSITION: Must complete a pre‑employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable) before starting employment. All candidates must meet these screening requirements as a condition of employment.
