Job summary
Texscape Services in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced landscape pest management technician responsible for prevention and treatment of pests and diseases on commercial properties. You will perform fertilization, herbicide and pest control applications using approved equipment.
The role requires 2+ years' commercial pesticide operator experience, a valid driver's license, and a state pesticide license preferred.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial pesticide operator experience.
- Valid driver license issued by the state of employment.
- Pesticide license issued by the state preferred.
- Strong sense of customer service and urgency.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stay organized.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Effective oral and written communication in English.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment.
- Calculate product and carrier quantities.
- Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment.
- Safe handling and use of all chemicals.
- Properly complete required paperwork.
