Job summary
Jensen Landscape is seeking a pesticide technician to manage turf pest and disease prevention on commercial properties. You will apply fertilizers and pesticides using approved equipment, calculate product quantities, and keep accurate records with emphasis on safety.
Requirements include at least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience, a valid driver license, and state pesticide license preferred.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience.
- As required by state and federal law.
- Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.
- Pesticide License issued by the state where employed, preferred.
- Strong sense of customer service and urgency.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful prevention and/or treatment of pest and disease presence on commercial landscape.
- Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment
- Calculate product and carrier quantities
- Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment
- Safe Handling and use of all chemicals
- Properly complete required paperwork
