Job summary

Environmental Designs is seeking a pesticide operator to manage pest control and fertilization on commercial turf. The role requires at least 2 years of pesticide operator experience and a valid driver license, with state pesticide license preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The candidate will perform treatments, calculate product quantities, safely mix and apply products, and complete paperwork while using various application equipment.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience.
Pesticide license issued by the state where employed, preferred.
Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.
Strong sense of customer service and urgency.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Organizational Skills.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Effective oral and written communication.
Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment.
Calculate product and carrier quantities.
Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment.
Safe handling and use of all chemicals.
Properly complete required paperwork.
