Job summary

Environmental Designs is seeking a field-based specialist to manage pest and disease prevention on commercial landscapes in Loveland, CO. You will apply fertilizers and pest control products, calculate quantities, and ensure safe handling and accurate paperwork. Prior p esticide operator experience, a valid license, and a driver license are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial pesticide operator experience.
• Pesticide license issued by the state where employed, preferred.
• Valid driver license issued by the state where employed.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong sense of customer service and urgency.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Perform fertilization, herbicide and pest management treatments on turf using approved spray equipment.
• Calculate product and carrier quantities.
• Properly mix and apply plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various types of application equipment.
• Safe Handling and use of all chemicals.
• Properly complete required paperwork.
