Job summary

Ryan Lawn & Tree Inc. is seeking a Turf Specialist to bridge field operations and leadership, coordinating schedules and delivering turf services for residential and commercial clients. You will support mowing crews and applicators, monitor turf health, and ensure work meets RJ Lawn & Landscape standards.

The role emphasizes safety, training, device checks, and effective communication with the Turf Manager. Year-round responsibilities include snow removal and adherence to pesticide laws.

Qualifications

• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Possess and maintain Iowa Class A Combination CDL (no air brakes).
• Possess and maintain 3OT - Ornamental Turf Applicator certification/license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Turf crews and specialized work with Turf Manager.
• Assist with mowing operations and chemical application as needed.
• Monitor turf health, disease, pests, and moisture issues; report findings.
