Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Agronomy Technician to safely apply fertilizers and IPM for our landscape maintenance properties. You will diagnose turf and ornamental issues and ensure compliance with label instructions and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides according to label instructions.
• Ability to identify turf and ornamental issues and propose appropriate treatments.
• Commitment to safety procedures and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides to lawns, shrubs and plant material per label and safety rules.
• Preparing and mixing products according to instructions and product specs.
• Ensuring safe operation of tools, vehicles and equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of products used and completing work order correspondence.
• Maintaining rapport with customers and meeting expectations.
• Using hand and power tools to perform IPM duties and performing other duties as assigned.
