Job summary

Juniper is a full-service landscape design, build, and management company serving the Southeast. Juniper is seeking an Agronomy Technician to responsibly apply fertilizers and IPM practices for our landscape maintenance properties.

The technician will diagnose turf and ornamental issues, prepare and apply products per label instructions, and maintain records and equipment while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs and plant material in accordance with accepted industry practices, safety procedures, label instructions, and rules and requirements of various Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies
• Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specifications, and using in accordance with prescribed safety precautions and directions
• Ensuring the safe and proper operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Maintaining accurate records of products used
• Completing all required correspondence regarding work orders
• Retention of customers through rapport, communication, and met expectations
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform IPM duties
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
