Qualifications

• Four year degree in polymer chemistry or engineering is required.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in turf/turf fiber or 10+ years plastics/extrusion manufacturing.
• Ability to travel (primarily domestically) - 50%.
• Strong communication and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal customers to determine performance requirements and target costing for new products.
• Design and coordinate lab studies, pilot trials, and production trials.
• Follow the development process from inception to product release.
• Interface with customers, Manufacturing, QE, and Tech Services to ensure testing protocols.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to negotiate priorities and run trials efficiently.
• Lead cross-functional teams and promote sustainable product design.
• Assist in installation and startup of new equipment.
