Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking a TurboTax Retail Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will deliver personalized tax preparation, advice, and software support to in-person customers, helping them navigate tax needs and maximize refunds.

You'll engage with the local community, build a client base, and represent TurboTax as a trusted ambassador. A flexible, customer-focused approach and ability to work front-facing in retail are essential;

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects to convert them into long‑term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, from simple to complex tax situations.
• Lead local marketing efforts and help grow TurboTax’s client base with community outreach and customer education.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine client care.
• Interact with customers in-person and via TurboTax tools; address inquiries and assist with tax-related challenges.
