Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will prepare returns, provide tax advice, and support clients in navigating complex tax situations while building a local client base.

This non-exempt, on-site role emphasizes excellent customer service, community engagement, and collaboration with marketing resources to grow TurboTax presence in your community.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, minimum 20 hours/week; hours may increase during peak periods.
• Willing to build a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns for TurboTax customers, including complex scenarios.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and help clients achieve financial goals.
