Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert tax advice at a local TurboTax location. You will serve both in-person and virtual clients, helping with personal and business taxes while building a local client base and long-term relationships.

Role involves onsite work with flexible hours, collaborating with a team of tax professionals and leveraging Intuit marketing tools to drive community engagement.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Act as a local growth driver, identify prospects, and lead local events to build brand awareness.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or other Intuit services.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and convert one-time transactions into ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional service and helpful support in person and via video tools.
