Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks energetic TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on-site TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support, while coordinating with a broad team of specialists to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience. You’ll grow the local client base, organize community events, and work with marketing tools to build client loyalty.

Qualifications

• EA or CPA or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and have name used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as a local ambassador to grow the client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and drive long-term client relationships.
• Work with in-person and virtual clients using Intuit tools and CRM to ensure end-to-end service.
• Represent TurboTax in local and national marketing efforts.
