Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Engineering Manager - Turbine Outage to lead the turbine engineer team and direct Field Service activities for turbine projects. This role oversees start-up, commissioning, and installation of steam and gas turbine systems from Tinley Park, IL or Cranberry Township, PA offices.

You will manage resources, budgets, and schedules while driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in Instrumentation and Control in the Power industry.
• Demonstrated experience in resource management, risk management, and change management.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage turbine start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring resources and teams are aligned for successful site operations.
• Expand and develop Field Service installation and commissioning resources to support growth of the turbine business.
• Oversee personnel, equipment, and financial resources to expand business volume and profitability of the Turbine Outage group by managing Field Service scope and change notice activities.
• Build relationships with Turbine retrofit customers to grow the Power & Water Solutions business while providing quality service.
• Collaborate with regional Field Service leadership to share resources to enhance productivity and promote teamwork.
