Job Description

Position: Project Manager – Turbine Solutions (Cranberry Township, PA). Emerson seeks an experienced project manager to oversee control‑system replacement projects for power plants. Responsibilities include managing project execution, contract compliance, client satisfaction, and financial performance across Balance of Plant, Turbine, and Digital Generator Controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and manage project budget and execution from start to finish, working with technical leads and group managers, including procurement, resources, and schedule.
• Ensure projects are delivered with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Use contract terms and conditions to improve scope, cash flow, margin, and limit liabilities.
• Minimize exposure to risk and make necessary recommendations to management.
• Apply quality procedures and standard methodologies using appropriate gate reviews; participate in project audits as needed.
• Build relationships with the sales team and clients to generate future opportunities.
• Recommend improvements to products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of engineering project management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20% within North America.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with turbine scope retrofit.
• Automation control systems experience (DCS or comparable).
• EPC scope and site management experience (power plants a plus).
• PMP certification.
• MBA.
