Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred: 2-year technical school degree with emphasis on ICE Technician skills or equivalent experience.
• MO Helper I - 0-2 years of experience in Operations or similar field.
• OT: 5+ years of experience as a MO or equivalent process operator experience.
• Industrial experience and ICE Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment on utility steam turbines and generators; monitor operating parameters.
• Perform repairs and overhauls; troubleshoot faulty equipment.
• Assist in job planning, cost evaluation, and during outages provide contractor management and cost/schedule control.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders (dispatchers, directors, contractors).
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and safety practices.
