Job summary

Entergy Arkansas, LLC seeks a Maintenance Operator- SMOC at Osceola to maintain and troubleshoot power plant systems. Under supervision, you will inspect, repair, install, test and calibrate instrumentation and electrical equipment including meters, control modules, and safety devices.

This safety-sensitive role requires compliance with Fossil Safety Procedures, and may involve overtime and adjustment to plant conditions to support reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Graduation from an accredited Instrument Technician Program or Journeyman Electrician’s License.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, identify, maintain, and repair power plant equipment.
• Perform lockout/tag out procedures for maintenance work.
• Operate and maintain instrumental and electrical systems and controls.
• Calibrate instrumentation and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Be available for overtime and work in a power plant environment.
