Job summary

Component Repair Technologies (CRT) in Mentor, OH, seeks a CSC Engineer to evaluate and recommend permanent solutions for out-of-manual conditions on turbine engine components. You will work with engineering, quality, and production to develop compliant repair paths and document results.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years’ college with associate or technical engineering degree; a four-year STEM degree may be considered based on other relevant experience.
Experience using or interpreting technical requirements.
Some engineering or similar work experience; turbine engine knowledge preferred.
Minimum of three years’ shop environment exposure with general knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Follow established safety protocols and guidelines.
Investigate, evaluate, and report OMC conditions on turbine engine components.
Analyze root causes of OMC conditions using engineering principles; propose alternative repair methods.
Document results via technical reports and maintain component history records.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to ensure compliance with standards.
Identify, communicate, and assist in solving OMC trends and repetitive processing issues.
