Job summary

Component Repair Technologies (CRT) in Mentor, OH is seeking a Repair Development Engineer to industrialize, develop and integrate repairs for gas turbine engine components within OEM guidelines. You will lead projects to create and validate repairs in approved technical data formats and collaborate with OEMs to advance new repair concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in applicable fields.
• Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals, FAA regulations, and blueprints; apply information systematically.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to evaluate from technical and mechanical perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate repairs into approved technical data formats for gas turbine engine components.
• Research OEM manuals and technical data to create clear work instructions and procedures.
• Analyze OEM diagrams and blueprints to produce efficient work instructions for production.
• Collaborate with OEMs and internal engineers to recover unserviceable components and drive improvements.
• Improve repair documentation and tooling to enhance production efficiency and turnaround times.
