Qualifications

• Two years of college with an associate degree or technical engineering degree; a four-year STEM degree may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience using or interpreting technical requirements.
• Three years’ shop environment exposure with general knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Turbine engine knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Provide customer support by investigation, evaluation, and reporting of OMC conditions on turbine engine components.
• Analyze root causes of OMC conditions using engineering principles and evaluate alternative repair methods.
• Document results via technical report writing and maintain repair history records.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to meet stringent standards.
• Identify and assist in solving OMC trends and repetitive processing issues through continuous improvement.
