Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a Washer Equipment Operator for the Laundry Services department. The role involves overseeing the Tunnel Washer computer system, ensuring correct wash formulas and load weights, and backing up related RAM systems.

You will sort linens between loads and load washers and dryers accurately. Responsibilities include monitoring chemical levels, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while performing routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English required.
• Familiarity or experience with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tunnel Washer computer system and monitor load weights.
• Back up Tunnel Washing and RAM systems; troubleshoot and contact service as needed.
• Sort soiled linen and load into washers with correct formulas and weights.
• Unload dryers and transfer clean linen to monorail or laundry carts.
• Coordinate distribution of laundry to maintain efficient wash line-ups.
