Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a Washer Equipment Operator for the Laundry Services department. The role involves overseeing the Tunnel Washer computer system, ensuring correct wash formulas and load weights, and backing up related RAM systems.
You will sort linens between loads and load washers and dryers accurately. Responsibilities include monitoring chemical levels, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while performing routine maintenance tasks.

Shift/schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/wk)
Works under the supervision of the Manager of Laundry Services. The Washer Equipment Operator's main job function is overseeing the Tunnel Washer computer system and operations that keeps track of multiple washer line-ups, appropriate washing formulas and load weights. Responsible for backing up Tunnel Washing and RAM systems, troubleshooting problems, and contacting inside/outside service when required. Implements alternate procedures until Tunnel Washing system returns to normal operation. Sorts soiled linen in between loads. Perform other duties as assigned.
