Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. seeks an experienced Equipment Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, inspect and maintain motorized and mechanical equipment across project sites in Southeast Virginia.

You will handle diagnostics, preventative maintenance and occasional fabrication tasks, while ensuring safety, compliance and timely documentation. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and preferred vocational automotive training with CDL and related certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or technical training in automotive and equipment repair and diagnostics preferred; equivalent experience or training may substitute for education.
• Demonstrated equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment failures using electronic testing equipment, service manuals and on-line resources.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment per PM schedule.
• Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, electrical & computer systems; restore hydraulic and pneumatic systems; advise on outsourcing when needed.
