Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a proven Equipment Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, inspect and maintain motorized and mechanical construction, highway maintenance, grounds, and automotive equipment of all types in Southeast Virginia.

Responsibilities include safe operation, reporting safety concerns, and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED with vocational training in automotive and equipment repair and a CDL Class B license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational or technical training in automotive and equipment repair preferred; equivalent experience or training may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, inspect and maintain motorized and mechanical equipment across varied locations.
• Operate and test vehicles and equipment safely in different weather and road conditions.
• Prepare, maintain and close-out maintenance work orders and paperwork.
