Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management/infrastructure service organization, seeks a Bridge-Tunnel Operation Crewmember at our site in Virginia. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, directing traffic, coordinating with police and emergency services, and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina and multi-tasking in a high-traffic environment. This position offers on-site duties in the Hampton Roads area, with DMV licensure maintenance and strong

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong command of English, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Traffic Control operations, rules, and procedures.
• Knowledge of Hampton Roads Interstate/local roadways is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Occupy inspection stations and inspect vehicles for over height, hazardous materials, and violations.
• Provide security by standing watch and directing traffic with signals and paddles.
• Operate various vehicle types and maintain DMV licensure.
• Assist emergency responders and maintain safety through SOPs and housekeeping.
• Dispatch and deploy Incident Response Trailer and coordinate with control room.
• Respond to motorists with clear information and directions; support tunnel emergencies.
