U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Bridge-Tunnel Operation Crewmember to perform routine traffic control, security, and incident response at our site in Hampton, VA.

The role requires inspecting stations, directing traffic, assisting motorists, and coordinating with local authorities. You will operate patrol vehicles, radio communications, and safety equipment, with shifts including weekends and holidays and a 90-day probation period.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of traffic control operations, rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of Hampton Roads Interstate and local roadways.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal). English proficiency is essential; Spanish is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Occupy inspection stations, stop and inspect vehicles for over-height or hazardous conditions; document issues and notify supervisor.
• Provide security by standing watch, direct traffic safely, and report suspicious activities.
• Operate vehicles and equipment, including SUVs and heavy-duty pickups; maintain DMV licensure.
• Assist police, fire, and emergency responders; follow SOPs and safety procedures; perform housekeeping duties.
• Dispatch and deploy incident resources; communicate with control room; record inspections and results.
• Respond to motorists with clear information and directions; support tunnel operations.
• Perform facility and grounds inspections and routine maintenance as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays; drive up to 50 miles/day.
