Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) in Binghamton, NY seeks a Tumor Registrar Trainee to generate accurate and timely registry data for Tumor, Birth Defect, Stroke and Orthopedic Registries. You will collaborate with the Registry Unit, physicians, and admin staff to ensure complete data capture and timely reporting.

The role is full-time, day shift, 40 hours weekly, with opportunities to pursue CTR certification within 2 years of hire and to advance RHIT/RHIA credentials while contributing to a culture

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare related field.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree with RHIT or Bachelor’s Degree with RHIA.
• Minimum Required: Successful completion of CTR Examination within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely registry data for Tumor, Birth Defect, Stroke and Orthopedic Registries.
• Collaborate with Cancer Program Management, physicians, offices, and departments to ensure complete data.
• Support compliance with accreditation and reporting requirements.
