Job summary

Ruby Recruiting is seeking a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) to manage data entry into the tumor registry system and prepare documents for state submissions. The candidate will collaborate with the Cancer Committee and ensure compliance for accreditation.

This position requires CTR certification and a preferred background in RHIT or RHIA, along with one year of hospital experience as a CTR. Confidentiality of information is assured according to EEO guidelines.

The certified tumor registrar (CTR) is responsible for data entry into the tumor registry system, preparation and submitting of abstract to the State as required, establishing and maintaining relationships with the Cancer Committee, and continues to prepare and maintain information for accreditation purposes, plus much more.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Certified Tumor Registrar--CTR, Preferred--CTR & RHIT (Registered Health Information Technologist) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator One year of experience as a CTR in a hospital setting.
