Centerline Logistics on the West Coast seeks a deckhand to maintain readiness of vessels, assist captain and mate, and support engineering as needed.

Responsibilities include tying lines, making up tows, operating radios, safety training, and routine deck and galley duties aboard tugboats and barges.

Must hold Able Seaman license, USCG MMC, TWIC, CPR/First Aid/AED, HAZWOPER, and a valid state driver’s license with strong English communication and ability to work in a crewed environment.

Qualifikationen

• Licenses and credentials required for safe vessel operation.
• Must have USCG Merchant Mariner Credential and Able Seaman license.
• Certified in CPR/First Aid/AED and hold TWIC card.

Aufgaben

• Deck must be cleaned and free of lines.
• Make up tows and assist Captain or Mate as directed.
• Operate radio and tie knots, lines, and fenders.
• Perform lubrication and routine maintenance on gear.
• Load supplies and assist galley duties as needed.
