Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Tufting Supervisor for the 2nd shift. This role will manage a 2nd shift team to produce quality carpet tile in a safe, accident-free environment, emphasizing safety, quality, and team development.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Plant Management, HR, and team members, facilitating coaching discussions, and maintaining knowledge of carpet manufacturing processes and equipment to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or High School Diploma/GED with leadership experience.
• Leadership experience within the most recent 5 years.

Position Overview

Position Responsibilities:

• Partnership with Plant Management, Human Resources, and all Team Members will be vital.
• Team Manager will act as a facilitator to aid associates in examining and improving the ways in which they work together to achieve better results.
• This will be accomplished through managing group and one-to-one discussions, applying coaching and corrective action when necessary, and communicating the goals and direction of the team.
• This position should also develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of the carpet manufacturing processes and the equipment and procedures it contains.

Requirements:
