Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, MA seeks a Lift Attendant to start mid-December 2026. You will load/unload guests on ground carpet, provide basic safety instructions, and help manage lift operations while keeping guests informed and safe.

You will document daily lift logs, report incidents, and coordinate with maintenance. A friendly, safety-conscious attitude and ability to use radios are essential for success in this role.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guests with basic loading/unloading instructions.

• Ensure guests use ground carpet properly and safely.
• Maintain loading/unloading carpet to spec.
• Complete daily lift logs and required paperwork.
• Report lift accidents or injuries to the manager immediately.
• Report carpet issues to maintenance promptly.
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting when required.
• Complete Tramway incident reports when required.
• May cross-train with lifts personnel.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Job Description

• Start up and shut down ground carpet as instructed by manager


• Provide guests with basic instructions on loading and unloading.


• Observe and assist guests when loading of tubes and spacing of tube release.


• Ensure that guests are using ground carpet properly and safely.


• Maintain loading and unloading ground carpet at required specifications.


• Complete daily lift logs and any other required paperwork.


• Report any lift related accidents or injuries to the manager immediately.


• Report malfunction or other carpet issues to maintenance immediately.


• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting when required.


• Complete Tramway incident reports when required.


• May cross train with lifts personnel.


• Perform other task as assigned by the Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Skilled in providing outstanding customer service.


• Must follow company procedures for maintaining a safe workplace.


• Must pay attention to detail and have an extreme dedication to safety.


• Must pass lift operator training session prior to working at lifts.


• Must have a friendly and fun disposition and connect with guests.


• Communicate clearly using 2 way radios.

Shift Requirements:

• Hours may be long, including early morning through early evening.


• Frequent weekend and holiday shifts.

Age Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least age 18 to work as attendant.
