Job summary

CM Resort, LLC is seeking a lift operator to oversee and operate lifts, assist guests on and off, and ensure safety and efficiency on the slopes in Conway, NH. This role requires attention to safety, ticket checks, and excellent guest service.

Positions available are both full-time and part-time with a focus on weekends, vacation weeks, and some evenings. The operator will follow resort etiquette and coordinate with Lift Supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and carry out start up procedures and related lift operations paperwork.
• Open and groom lift areas including maze setup and ramp grooming.
• Verify riders have valid lift tickets and manage entry as needed.
• Monitor lift operation and promptly report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Close procedures include unloading riders, powering down, and securing lift area.
• Provide courteous guest service and adhere to Resort Etiquette Guidelines.
• Respond to guests and employees in a timely, helpful manner.
• Assist team to achieve related tasks and maintain safe, efficient operation.
• Complete incident reports with supervisor on duty; perform other tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holiday weeks.

SUMMARY

Oversee and assume charge at assigned lift(s). Assist guests in getting safely on and off lifts. Operate lifts safely and efficiently monitor lift usage. Position requires constant awareness of lift operation, including chair lifts, surface lifts and tow lifts. Provide excellent service to guests at lifts. Both full and part-time positions are available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and carry out start up procedures by including paperwork, return check, drive check, line check, obtain permission for power on, electronic lift safety check, obtain and record time of openings.
• Oversee and perform a variety of opening procedures, including maze setup and ramp grooming.
• Ensures that riders have valid lift tickets by checking or scanning. Refuse entry to skiers without valid tickets, referring them to the appropriate personnel.
• Notify Lift Supervisor or Lift Maintenance of problems or unsafe conditions by monitoring the operation of the lift continually.
• Perform closing procedures by unloading all riders from lift, shut down lift, clear out and smooth ramps and maze areas, secure lift house and tools.
• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following Resort Etiquette Guidelines while interacting with guests.
• Respond to all guests and employees in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Fill out incident reports with lift supervisor on duty. Perform other tasks as assigned
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, vacation/holiday weeks, and some weekend evenings.
