Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking an energetic Tubing Supervisor to lead daily tubing operations, train staff, and partner with Mountain Operations to keep tubing lanes groomed and guest-ready all season long.

You will oversee on-hill safety, supervise team members, manage opening/closing procedures, parking, tickets, Food & Beverage and Retail activities, and ensure tubing equipment is maintained and safe, with a focus on guest satisfaction and team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer and guest service experience.
• Experience supervising outdoor activities preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee active safety management to keep every guest and team member safe.
• Train and supervise staff members.
• Oversee day-to-day tubing operations, including opening and closing procedures, parking, tickets, Food & Beverage and Retail, security and patrol operations.
• Ensure the safety of all tubing employees.
• Secure releases of liability and ensure the safety of all customers.
• Review and oversee all daily logbooks.
• Coordinate with Mountain Operations on daily maintenance of lifts and tubing lanes.
• Maintain a log of hours for lifts and train staff on daily lift operations.
• Maintain tube inventory and proper inflation levels; patch, repair or retire tubes as needed.
• Keep logs on tube condition and send tubes back to the vendor for refurbishing as needed.
• Perform some snow removal as necessary.
• Take on other job duties as assigned.
• Cross-train and lend a hand in other departments as needed, building a broader understanding of resort operations.
