Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, a part of the ASSA ABLOY group, seeks an Operator for Tulsa, OK on the 1st shift. You will be responsible for tube mill operations and equipment to ensure continuous operation during the shift.

Key duties include maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area, performing quality checks, and coordinating with the supervisor on daily/weekly activities. Strong reading of setup charts and use of measuring devices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
• Ability to read OEM setup charts and interpret them for tooling adjustments.
• Ability to document downtime and meet scheduling deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Focus on keeping the mill operational with safety and quality as priorities.
• Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill setup.
• TPM of process and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
• Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
• Minimize scrap and resolve issues with maintenance hands-on.
• Tag product with material handler and ensure continuous flow.
