Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, a part of the ASSA ABLOY group, seeks an Operator for Tulsa, OK on the 1st shift. You will be responsible for tube mill operations and equipment to ensure continuous operation during the shift.

Key duties include maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area, performing quality checks, and coordinating with the supervisor on daily/weekly activities. Strong reading of setup charts and use of measuring devices are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
• Ability to read OEM setup charts and interpret them for tooling adjustments.
• Ability to document downtime and meet scheduling deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Focus on keeping the mill operational with safety and quality as priorities.
• Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill setup.
• TPM of process and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.

Minimize scrap Work with maintenance hands on to get issues resolved in a timely manner.**The skills and experience you need:**High School diploma or GED Equivalent Good mechanical aptitude Experience in using special measuring devices, micrometer, calipers, tape measure Must be able to read set up charts supplied by OEM and interpret them to roll tooling adjustments. Change out cut off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels of equipment Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling Must be able to document down time through seamless reporting system to drive KPI trackingGood communication skills with coworkers to insure continuous flow of the mill and material handler for proper tagging of productAbility to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the millAbility to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activitiesThis role is located in Tulsa, OK.Questions about this role?
