Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks an Operator for its Tulsa, OK site. This 1st shift role focuses on tube mill operations, maintaining continuous mill operation, and upholding safety and quality standards.

You will be responsible for keeping the mill operational, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and training teammates on setup and programming tasks. The role requires the ability to read setup charts and perform quality checks on finished products.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience with measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
• Ability to read OEM setup charts and adjust tooling.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality, priorities above all.
• Focus on keeping the mill operational.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area.
• Cross training of team members on parts programming and mill set ups.
• TPM of process and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with department supervisor.
• Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
• Minimize scrap.
• Work with maintenance hands-on to resolve issues promptly.
