Trane Technologies in Michigan is seeking a Tube Bender III to set up and operate CNC tube bending machines, producing premium parts to exacting standards and tolerances. You will work on a high-volume assembly line and contribute to delivering reliable, durable products for customers.

The role requires reading blueprints, understanding geometric tolerances, and performing routine quality checks. You will train colleagues, follow safety rules, and maintain consistent attendance while upholding

Qualifications

• Three or more years of tube bending experience.
• Ability to read blue prints and understand GD&T.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

What’s in it for you:

As a Tube bender III, you will set up and operate the tube bending machines to build premium products according to our exacting standards and processes, assuring that our customers receive the highest quality products in the industry.

What you will do:

• Operates CNC and other tube bending machines on various types of bends with varying complexity
• Perform bending operations from complex diagrams that contain multiple bends, complicated angles and sensitive tolerances.
• Perform quality checks using pressure testing machines for leaks and defects
• Create a safe work environment by following safety rules and company policies
• Maintain regular attendance

What you will bring:

• Ability to read blue prints and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerances
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance for applicable machines, ability to remove dents, trouble shoot fixable quality issues.
• Ability to use measuring equipment, such as calipers, gages, and rulers
• Good communication skills and ability to train others
• Three or more years as a tube bender
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work in ahigh-volumeassembly process while continually standing
