Job summary

TKC Thermo King LLC is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician for on-site work in the United States. You will operate machines to cut, bend, drill, and assemble components, ensuring quality while following safety and productivity standards.

The role requires reading TK prints, using measuring equipment, and setting up equipment with guidance to meet scrap and quality targets in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read TK prints.
• Ability to read measuring instruments.
• Willing to take minimum qualifications test with 70% or better.
• On-site position with five-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to cut, bend, shape, drill, and test parts.
• Ensure quality parts with acceptable scrap rate.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with parts under guidance while meeting productivity targets.
• Maintain documentation (ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).

Where is the work: On-Site (5 days)

Essential Function/s:

Set-up and operate various machines and equipment to cut, bend, shape, drill, and/or test raw materials, parts, components and/or assemblies.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Blueprint Reading Precision Tools and Measuring Certifications

• Forklift, if applicable

Quality Metric

• Scrap Dollars
• Rejected or reworked tubes

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department.
• Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department.
• Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better.

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)

• Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance to include Drill press, swage, hand-bending jigs, tubing benders, tube cutter, T-drill, and CMM.
• Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with assistance.
• Demonstrate ability to produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate.
• Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department.
• Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs).
