Job summary

Aerotek in Torrance, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Tube Bender to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The role involves bending parts to meet specifications for welding and assembly, primarily using aluminum, with tight tolerances and Bend Pro G2 Controls.

You will operate and set up CNC bending machines, bend parts for weld/assembly, work with aluminum and other metals, and troubleshoot/program CNC tube cutting equipment.

Job Title: Tube Bender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Tube Bender to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The role involves bending various parts to meet the specifications required for our welding and assembly departments. The primary material used will be aluminum, and candidates should be comfortable working with tight tolerances and using Bend Pro G2 Controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC tube bending machines.
• Bend parts to meet fittings necessary for welding and assembly.
• Work with metals such as Inconel, titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Utilize Bend Pro G2 Controls for precision bending.
• Troubleshoot and program CNC tube cutting equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in tube bending and operating bending machines.
• Proficiency in CNC tube cutting equipment.
• Ability to work with close tolerances.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable standing for the majority of the shift.
• Experience with pipe sizes from .250 to 3.0 inches.

Work Environment

The role is based in a machine shop setting, requiring standing for most of the shift. The standard hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime on Saturdays from 7:00am to 12:00pm or earlier start times during weekdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
